One of the biggest nights in music arrived on Sunday night (Jan. 28), as the 60th annual Grammy Awards invaded the Madison Square Garden in New York City. Hosted by James Corden, performers on the night included Kendrick Lamar, SZA, DJ Khaled, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Elton John, and more. While the star-studded performances dazzled the audience and viewers at home, it was the nights big winners that has everyone talking. This year’s Grammy Awards were a male-dominated affair – despite women taking center stage with powerful messages about the need for equality and attendees showing solidarity with victims of sexual harassment and assault by wearing white roses.

The most prominent winner of the night was Bruno Mars, who took home seven total trophies including Record Of The Year and Album Of The Year for his chart-topping album 24 Magic. Another top headliner on the winner’s list was Kendrick Lamar, who had wins in the best rap album and best rap/sung collaboration which he accepted with Rihanna for “Loyalty.”

While Jay Z didn’t walk away with a Grammy this year, he was honored with the GRAMMY Salute to Industry Icons Award for his contributions as an industry trailblazer and music visionary. Wife Beyoncé, Diddy, Cardi B, Jamie Foxx, Rita Ora, Swizz Beatz and more attended the extravagant gala to honor the Hip Hop pioneer.
