With "Boo'd Up" still blazing up the charts, Ella Mai is gearing up for the highly-anticipated follow-up by announcing her second single.

Titled "Trip," the British songstress has shared that her next single will arrive Friday, August 3rd. And not only does Ella Mai have a new single on the way, she also teased that her debut album will arrive later this year.

It's fair to say that 2018 has been a breakout year for Ella Mai. "Boo'd Up," which appears on her 2017 EP Ready, is currently No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 (in the United States), making the 23-year-old singer the first woman to top three R&B/Hip Hop Radio charts since Beyonce in 2012. She is also the first UK artist to reach No. 1 on the US R&B Singles chart since 1992.
