According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gucci Mane’s life is set to be the subject of a big screen biopic.

Paramount has obtained the life rights to Mane, whose real name is Radric Delantic, and movie rights to his autobiography, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane, which was written while he was in prison and was a bestseller upon release.

The film will be produced by Erica Huggins and Brian Grazer, whose long list of credits includes 8 Mile, A Beautiful Mind and Frost/Nixon. Mane and Todd Moskowitz will executive produce.

In January, the rapper had announced on Twitter that he hoped to direct a film based on his life. No decision has been announced about who will be helming the project.
