Bandcamp senior editor and Pitchfork contributor Marcus J. Moore announced today that he is writing The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America, a new cultural biography about the TDE artist’s ground-breaking career.
Some big news I've been eager to share: I've signed with @TouchstoneBooks to write the cultural biography of Kendrick Lamar. My book, "The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America," will detail his rise to rap superstardom. pic.twitter.com/6Fm68sFBad

As Moore noted, the bio will come out via Touchstone Books, which is a Simon & Schuster-backed imprint. It has previously released books about Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney.
From winning Grammys to performing across the globe, Kendrick Lamar has achieved a lot in his lustrous career, so there will be a lot of ground to cover in this book.
