Genuinely shocked and saddened by the news of Cadet’s passing. Undeniably talented MC and also a down-to-earth, cheerful person. Made time to stop and chat with me at Notting Hill Carnival a couple of years ago, even though his friends kept calling him away. R.I.P.— MIKILL PANE (@MikillPane) February 9, 2019

Such sad news.
We’ll be keeping his Wireless performance as a time to reflect on the memory of Blaine.
Known for his hard-hitting, honest and extremely personal bars, he quickly amassed a solid fan base following the release of his viral freestyle videos and highly-praised projects, The Commitment and The Commitment 2, as well as notable hits like “Advice” and “Trendy”. He was poised for continued success in 2019 with an upcoming performance at this year’s Wireless Festival and new music in the pipeline.
We send our deepest condolences out to Cadet’s family and friends during this difficult time.
