This year, Mason and I attended SW4 Festival, which is held at Clapham Common and boasts one of this year's biggest festival line-up's of DJs and artists including Craig David, Stefflon Don, Bugzy Malone and Disciples.

At the festival, there were 5 areas including the Main Stage with Captial, the Capital Xtra stage, Indoor main stage hosted by Together presents Amnesia, stage 3 hosted by Playaz, and stage 4 hosted by Baseline Carnival with all stages playing a wide selection of music genres, which I thought was great.

Even though it was showering down with rain all day, that did not stop any of the festival goers, especially down at the Captial Xtra stage where it was like a mud bath but nobody cared as we were having an amazing time. I think most people embraced the rain and mud, which was quite fun to watch, especially with everybody using things to cover themselves with from ponchos to plastic supermarket bags!

Our standout performance of the day had to be Craig David. When Craig was performing the rain was probably at its worst but that didn't stop the festival spirit. He had the crowd dancing and happy through his energetic set. The second stand out performance of the day came from Disciples. We had not seen Disciples live before but we must say it was amazing and we would definitely see them live again.

We also got to interview Big Tobz who had just finished his performance on the Captial Xtra stage. Big Tobz is one of the most humble and down to earth guys I’ve interviewed so far, he also mentioned that he would love to collaborate with Ty Dolla Sign.

Overall, SW4 was one of the best festivals I’ve attended so far. From the layout to the food and the really friendly staff.  The only negative was the weather, which was out of anyone’s control and I felt like it gave it the day more of a “festival” experience. We will defiantly be attending SW4 2019!
