Beyonce’s sales increased 228% following her acclaimed performance on Saturday.

Beyonce's hit-filled set at weekend 1 of Coachella has seen her sales increase massively. Data from Nielsen Music shows that digital song sales for Beyoncé's catalog saw a 228% increase compared to a baseline established prior to Coachella. Of all her hits, Beyonce's single "Hold-Up" was the biggest-selling with a sales spike of 287%.

In addition, digital song sales for Destiny's Child hits soared some 767% on Sunday, April 15, not even 24 hours after the group collectively wowed the crowd.

The trio is marking the 20th anniversary of the chart-topping girl's group, and the sudden uptick in downloads means the ladies have not lost relevancy even though they don't often perform live together, writes Forbes.

Beyonce is also set to perform at weekend 2 of Coachella, so we can only expect another huge sales spike during her second outing at the music festival.
