After Black Panther reached a new milestone by being the latest movie to gross more than a billion dollars at the worldwide box office, it has now been revelad that the blockbuster movie will get a bonafide sequel, a Marvel exec confirms. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Marvel Studio president, Kevin Feige, revelead "we absolutely will do that" when asked if a sequel for the movie was in the works, though he wouldn't reveal any plot secrets. 

He continued: 

One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one.

The ending of Black Panther did leave enough scope for a seuqel, so it will be interesting to see what direction filmmakers take for the much-anticipated sequel.
