A petition calling on Theresa May to build trust in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry will be debated in parliament in May following support from musicians including Stormzy and Adele.
Following his powerful performance at the 2018 Brit Awards, where he criticized the Prime Minister’s handling of the tragic fire, the MOBO Award-winner urged his fans to sign the petition, which was started by Grenfell survivors and victims of the tragedy.

Shortly after, the petition calling on the government to appoint additional panel members with decision making power to the independent Grenfell Tower inquiry, passed the 100,000 threshold (currently standing at 155, 927 signatures).

With more than 100,000 supporters, it has been announced that parliament will debate this petition on May 14, 2018.
