The Streets fans! Time to rejoice…

If you’ve been patiently waiting to hear more new music from Mike Skinner we’ve got good news. The Streets frontman has revealed that a new record is on the way. Speaking to Q Magazine, Skinner explained that he’s got a new mixtape on the way, along with a film of some sorts.

“I’m going to be releasing more music as and when I feel inspired in the lead-up to the film,” Skinner explained.

“I’ve got a track that will be out by the time this runs, I think, Called ‘Call Me In The Morning’ with Chip and Grim Sickers, which is really good,” he continued.

“And I’m planning a mixtape during 2019, as well as getting back into the swing of festivals.”

“Then I’m going to make my film, release my album and after that we’re going to buy the West End off Andrew Lloyd Webber.”

2017 was a busy year not just for Skinner but for The Streets too, as they embarked on highly-anticipated sold-out reunion tour across Europe. And while Skinner is yet to reveal the release date of the new track, as NME reports, a listing on Amazon suggests that the track will be released on the 23rd November 2018.
